The past four days have been a rollercoaster of emotions as I attempted to create a website from scratch. There were moments when I just couldn't stop crying in sheer frustration. It was not easy, and I certainly had to undergo a substantial learning curve, but I'm glad I finally took the plunge and launched my new website. It was long overdue!
There's still quite a bit of work to do. I need to add descriptions to all the artwork in the galleries, and I haven't started adding products to the website shop yet (although several items are already available in my Etsy store). However, the most challenging part is done and now I can break down the remaining tasks into manageable bite-size actions and by the end of the month, everything should be complete.
I have to say, I am massively proud of myself. As someone who's not exactly tech-savvy, I struggled tremendously in the process of creating this website. That being said, I never gave up and forged ahead even though there were plenty of instances when I felt like throwing my laptop against the wall!
With the website and Etsy store completed, I can now focus on creating new art and products for the upcoming holiday season. I have so many ideas and I am crazy inspired to create.
